Summary
A description is given of airborne equipment developed recently by
Wild Heerbrugg for precise photo-flight navigation and remote control
of the essential camera functions. The PAV2 Universal Mount, for
carrying the RC8 or the RC9 Camera and the HC1 Horizon Camera, has
motorized drives for the tip, tilt and drift settings. The (\)F1
Navigation Sight has a 97° field and is used for scanning the track
from 48-J- 0 behind nadir to 8-g- 0 above the horizon. While the Universal
Mount and the Navigation Sight can be used independently of one
another, they can also be connected electrically through the PNG1
Servo Control Unit. This combination provides remote control from
the Navigation Sight in combination with the camera control unit
of the drift, tip and tilt settings of the RC8 or RC9 camera and the
Horizon Camera, and of overlaps and exposures. This integrated
instrumentation is completed by the RST2 Recording Statoscope.
Zusammenfassung
Vorliegende Abhandlung beschreibt die von Wild Heerbrugg neu ent
wickelte Ausrüstung für Präzisionsnavigation und Fernbetätigung der
wichtigsten Kammerfunktionen bei Bildflügen. Die Universal-Aufhänge-
vorrichtung PAV2 für die RC8 oder RC9 Luftbildkammern und die Horizont
kammer HCl ist mit Motorantrieb für Trift-, Längs- und Querneigungs
korrekturen ausgerüstet.
Das Navigationsfernrohr NF1 hat einen Bildwinkel von 97°. Es erlaubt
die Beobachtung des Flugstreifens im Bereich von 48-j 0 gegen die Flug
richtung, bis 8-5-° über den Horizont in Flugrichtung. Beide, Universal-
Auf hängevorrichtung und Navigationsfernrohr können unabhängig voneinan
der benutzt, oder über das Nachlaufgerät PNG1 elektrisch verbunden
werden. Auf diese Weise ist die Fernbetätigung der Trift- und Neigungs
einstellungen vom Navigationsfernrohr und, in Verbindung mit dem
Schaltkasten der Luftbildkammer, auch die Ueberdeckungsregelung und
Verschlussauslösung der RC8 oder RC9 und Horizontkammer HCl möglich.
Diese vielseitige Ausrüstung wird noch durch das Registrier-Statos-
kop RST2 ergänzt.
