7. Rewinding developing instruments 
Some of the test strips (optical wedges) pasted at the top, middle and end 
of each film roll to confirm the degree of development had been torn off during 
the development. So we can show the data of Gammas by two companies only.

From these data we could confirm that the degree of development is not 
uniform by the use of rewinding developing instruments. 
The data of Toyo Koku Jigyo Co., Ltd., by which test strips were paste4 at 
15 cm distance from each end of the film, warn that 0.5~1 m of excess film 
must be provided for the developing. 
V. Conclusion 
The results of our test are summarized as follows: 
1. There are no difficulties for the application of PET film to the aerial 
photography by the ordinary treatment for TAC film. 
2. Some of the photographic characteristics of the new film are improved 
better than KOK film. 
3. The laboratory test proves much improved physical properties of the 
new film. In spite of this its apparent irregular shrinkage measured by the 
relative orientation remained equivalent to that of TAC film. 
The result proves on the one hand the practical applicability of the new 
film as it is. 
On the other hand the discrepancy between the laboratory test and the 
relative orientation test is judged due to the uneven flattening of the new film 
at the exposure by the improper suction in aerial cameras, because of no special 
consideration for the much increased stiftness of the PET film was taken by 
this test. We expect that far better geometrical precision will be gained by 
the adoption of the proper measures for PET film.
