On the Photocomparator and the Stereo Pricking Device
7
elastic type provided with a proper and a subsidiary repulsive elements.
(6) Each of driving screws for X- and Y- directions is provided with a mini
motor and can be driven as far as the approximate position of the
measured point.
(7) In order to bring the floating mark to coincidence with the measured
point, the former can be manually moved with precision from the ap
proximate position.
(8) The mini-motor is provided with an automatic stop switch. A buzzer
rings as an alarm.
(9) The mini-motor can make positive and reverse rotations and its angular
velocity may be varied.
(10) The guide rail is of a round rod type.
(11) In the measurement, 0.001 mm can be read by means of a drum scale
directly connected with the X- and Y- precision screws. On the other
hand, the coordinate values (0.001 mm in unit) are recorded by means of
an electronic position detector and moreover, six-unit code is perforated
on the tape.
(B) Electoronic Coordinate Recording and Perforating Device
( a ) Electronic Position Detector
Binary code of six digits is transmitted from three code boards con
sisting of single figure four bits directly coupled to the precise driving
screw of X and Y.
( b ) Sign Converting Device
The phase of the coordinate transmitted from the position detector by
means of the binary code shall be converted into the decimal values and
also the parallel signal and then trasmitted to the coordinate recorder and
the perforating device.
( c ) Coordinate Recording Device
(1) Both X and Y shall be made six figures 0.001 mm in unit to which the
point name shall be attached.
(2) The values of the coordinate shall be inked in the following way (an
example):
Point Name X Y
123456 105.362 095.267
(3) The recording range shall be inked in the region from 075.000 to 325.000
taking 200.000 as the central point of the coordinates X and Y.
(4) Out of the data of the coordinates, only the phase transmitted from the
position detecting device shall be automatically inked while the name of
the measured point, the order number of the work, the name of the dis
trict, etc. shall be manually inked.
( d ) Tape Perforating Device
(1) The tape perforating device is of six unit code.
(2) The data of the coordinate and other data shall be perforated on the tape
simultaneously with their inking.
