Summary
Of both the physiological and the psychological aspects, seven basic
groups are mentioned, and of each some main properties relevant to
photo-interpretation are treated.
A mixed group of eight properties based on the primary aspects is
roughly divided into those which deal with measuring (photogrammetry)
and those which deal with perception (interpretation).
Adaptation to the visual tasks comes into the picture in the form
of a time arrow, symbolizing the Learning and Education processes.
Finally, the constructed matrix is discussed in sections (camera
versus computer; biological machinery versus human creature) and
practical conclusions are envisaged — mainly for education and
training in professional photo-interpretatione
