Cameras used are described previously or elsewhere in these Archives.
Filters used with the Wild cameras are yellow 450 millimicrons (1-3X), yellow
500 millimicrons (2X), and orange 600 millimicrons (4X). The minus blue (12)
is used with the O.S.C., and the Zeiss light yellow, yellow, and orange filters
with the RMK P-10.
New Zealand
The Eagle IV cameras fitted with Ross 8j" f :4 - 5 fluorided lenses weigh 30
lbs. They have a louvre shutter behind the lens with a speed of 1/200 second.
Operation is electric with a minimum interval between exposures of 3 seconds.
175 exposures 9" x 7" are obtained on film. A K2 filter is used without graded
density. A counter, data card, altimeter, and watch are photographed.
Sweden
Preliminary resolving power tests have been made for the RMK 20/3030
from an altitude of 400 m using a low contrast annulus target 6 . The RMK
20/3030 used in Sweden has a special suction back 7 , kilters used are mainly
the Zeiss D, but also the B and C with some others for special investigations.
