The same manufactured presents now to the 7 1,1 International Congress
of Photogrammetry (Washington 1952) a new model of his «Photoste
reograph ».
In the new instrument the idea of amalgamating the images of the mark
and the photograph in parallel rays before their entrance into the optical
viewing system has been maintained.
Further, on the contray of the arrangement according to the principle
by Deville Pulfrich, it is possible to explore plotting cameras having any
image-field, for the reflecting surfaces are not fixed referring to the principal
axes of the cameras, but arranged in a invariable position as compared to
the axes of the collimating rods. The surfaces are belonging to a prism devised
by Mr. Nistri and having a new shape as well as a new function.
Observation is done automatically in epipolar planes.
The arrangement of the axes of the co-ordinate measuring device has
made it possible to avoid for the absolute orientation of the spatial model
the rotation around the horizontal axis perpendicular to the viewing base.
In this way also the centre of gravity of the apparatus could be set lower.
The cameras of projection can be interchanged wi hout any influence
on the setting of the apparatus.
All movements are obtained by means of electro magnetic impulses.
The particulars of the apparatus are summed up by the Author in his
paper.
b) « LE NOUVEAU PHOTOCARTOGRAPHE « NISTRI » par l’In
