Wirp A8 Stereoplotter with drawing table
The adjustment consists of the leveling of the base plate, the main frame, and picture
carrier, by means of bubble levels, the tilt adjustment, and a simple and fast deter-
mination of the principal distance of both cameras.
The coated viewing optics with 6 x magnification provide very clear and bright pic-
tures, which bring out all the details of the object.
The precision of the instrument meets the requirements of a mapping instrument. It
can be defined by the mean error in the coordinates reduced to the image plane, which
does not exceed + 0:01 mm.
In contrast to the A6, the A8 can also be used for large scale plotting and, therefore,
represents a welcome addition to the A7 Autograph in this respect, too. An A with
two or three A 8’s may be the best combination for practical work.
