4. Tactical interpreters should feel an identity with the combat soldier and
they should provide intelligence in accord with the combat viewpoint.
5. Greater use should be made of potential tactical interpreters with basic
military arms experience rather than earth science backgrounds.
Close support photo intelligence for ground forces is an effective combat
weapon and, like any other weapon, it should be used—not abused.
