Attention: All groups except 10 and 11 must be strictly
limited to 40 participants. Tickets for the visits will be
distributed at the registration desk. Ask for tickets at ear
liest possible occasion. Be sure to keep the time schedule.
The buses will leave punctually.
TECHNICAL TRIPS AND TOURS
Norrtalje (trip N).
Special buses will leave Medborgarplatsen (Congress en
trance) at 9.00 (punctually).
Visit to the air base of the Geographical Survey Office at
Norrtalje, (about 10.30), lunch, sight-seeing and swimming.
Remember to bring a bathing suit.
Arrival in Stockholm about 17.00.
Saltsjobaden (trip S).
Special boat will leave Slottsbacken, Gustaf III statue east
of the Royal Palace at 9.30 (punctually).
Visit to the Observatory (about 11.00), lunch, sight-seeing
and swimming. Remember to bring a bathing suit.
Individual return to Stockholm by train.
Uppsala (trip U).
Special buses will leave Medborgarplatsen (Congress en
trance) at 9.00 (punctually).
In Uppsala visits will be made to the University, the famous
library Carolina, the Cathedral and the burial mounds of
Old Uppsala.
Arrival in Stockholm about 18.00.
Technical tours 1 (Stockholm—Mora) and 2 (Stock
holm—Mora—Göteborg).
Special buses will leave Medborgarplatsen (Congress en
trance) July 27 at 8.30.
Photogrammetric cadastral mapping will be demonstrated
in addition to sight-seeing. In Mora the address will be:
Mora Hotel. During the trip Mora—Göteborg various
examples of town and country planning will be demonstrated
in addition to visits at lumber and mining companies etc.
Address in Göteborg: Göteborgs och Bohus läns Lantmäteri-
kontor, Göteborg. The trips end in Mora (July 29) and
Göteborg (Aug. 1) respectively.
Technical tours 3 (Stockholm—Sundsvall) and 4
(Stockholm—Sundsvall—Kiruna—Boden.)
Departure from Stockholm Central Station July 27 at 7.50
by train for Hudiksvall.
Special buses from Hudiksvall to Sundsvall.
Cadastral photogrammetric mapping, lumber companies,
hydro-electric plants etc. will be demonstrated.
Address in Sundsvall: Hotel Knaust.
Tour 4 will by train and bus visit Boliden (mining com
pany), Kiruna (iron ore fields), Harsprânget (hydro-electric
plants) and Gällivare.
Address in Gällivare: Distriktslantmätare B. Alheden, Box
29, Gällivare. Phone: 100 19 or 108 45. The trips end in
Sundsvall (July 28) and Boden (Aug. 1) respectively.
