(Publ. IIH 6)
After a discussion of the fundamental operations of the aerial pliotogrammetry some results of
the determination of systematic errors in the pencils of rays of the photography and of plotting
instruments are presented. The theory of errors of the relative orientation is briefly summarized,
particularly with respect to the determination of the standard error of the y-parallax measurements
under different assumptions. The basic principles of the error propagation from the relative
orientation are briefly demonstrated. The principle of the numerical correction of photogrammetric
measurements is introduced. The error propagation from the basic observations into the final
results of the photogrammetric coordinate determination in single models is completely derived.
The accuracy of the final coordinate determination w T ith respect to accidental errors of the
observations is completely derived for different assumptions concerning the number and location
of the control points. The accuracy of functions of the final coordinates and that of the final
values of the elements of the outer orientation of the pictures is also treated. The demonstrated
procedure permits a very good accuracy.

The fundamental projective relations of pliotogrammetry
A new derivation of the fundamental projective relations between two planes is performed in
this paper. This relation is of great importance for all photogrammetric theory. The derivation has
been performed with simple geometric methods and can easily be varied with respect to the
arrangement of axes etc. in various photogrammetric instruments. The derivation is founded upon
the coordinate transformation in space from rotation of axes. The transformation formulae have
been expressed also with the aid of matrices. In this way the projective relations can easily be
reversed. From the derived formulae systems the very important differential formulae can be
derived under different conditions. These formulae are of fundamental importance for the treatment
of the theory of errors of photogrammetry.
