Homologo-comparator. 
La communication présente le nouvel appareil photogrammétrique »Homologo-Comparateur 
O. M. I.» dans ses principes théoriques et dans son schéma de réalisation théorique et d’utilisation. 
Il s’agit d’un appareil de restitution universel d’après la méthode classique et qui non seulement 
offre les possibilités d’un comparateur centésimal et d’un triangulateur, mais permet d’effectuer, 
d’une forme analogique, l’identification rigoureuse, par voie projective, des couples de points 
homologues d’un stéréogramme de lignes dans l’espace, qui peuvent être des structures suspendues 
ou des trajectoires de projectiles et de fusées. 
L’instrument est universel par égard au format de la prise de vue et à la disposition de la prise 
de vue terrestre, dans des limites très étendues de convergence, d’asymétrie, d’obliquité et de 
différence de niveau. 
Les opérations pratiques de restitution consistent dans une mise au point préalable de l’instrument 
d’après les paramètres d’orientation externe réciproque, et des plaques dans la due orientation 
interne. Successivement, dans l’identification projective-analogique des couples de points homologues, 
avec piquoir (ou par coordonnées polaires) et enfin dans le mesurage centésimal des coordonnées 
qui doivent être introduites dans les formules de restitution. 
Dans la prise de vue des trajectoires, l’»Homologo-Comparateur O. M. I.» permet d’éviter la 
complication de la segmentation des tracés photographiques.

The communication presupposes the knowledge of the theoretical principles 
of the Homologo-Comparator illustrated in a previous communication. 
The use of the O. M.I. Homologo-Comparator in the plotting, with the numeri 
cal method, of stereograms that retake spatial lines from a ground arrangement 
take requires the setting »una tantum», on the instrument, of the table of the 
homographie nuclear correspondence for the identification of the homologs, as 
well as the reference, of the model to be numerically plotted, to an intrinsical 
coordinate system, bound to the dihedral. 
The setting is made by graduating the instrument on the basis of the values 
of the seven parameters that are characteristic of homographie representation 
and precisely: the two pairs of carthesian coordinates of the nuclear points; the 
swings of two photograph frames in their plane; the abscissa common to the 
two principle points of thé perspectives in respect to the united nuclear fulcrum. 
The formulary of said parameters is simplified greatly by particular take 
arrangements of the photocamera and with the assumption of a system of 
intrinsic reference, which also allows the measurement of the plate coordinates 
in the same internal orientation of the frames useful for the identification of 
homology. 
The particular cases of normal take arrangement (with take plates lying in 
the same plane) and of oblique take arrangements (plates lying in parallel 
planes) can also be set in the Homologo-Comparator with a very simple 
formulary. 
The setting formulae of the Homologo-Comparator lastly permit to establish 
the limits of performance in the instrument on the basis of the current topo 
graphic parameters of external orientation of the arrangement of the ground 
take adopted. 
These are deduced by taking recourse to the spheric representation to establish 
the sphereotrigonometrical relation between the angular parameters of reciprocal 
orientation, and by making due reference to the influence of the curvature of 
the earth.

La communication présuppose la connaissance des principes théoriques de l’instrument qui ont 
été exposés dans une communication précédente. 
Ici sont déduites les formules qui permettent de transformer analytiquement les paramètres 
courants d’orientation extérieure réciproque de la disposition de prise de vue des stéréogrammes à 
restituer, dans les paramètres caractéristiques du tableau général des projectivités entre les faisceaux 
de rayons nucléals.
