Of particular interest are the small deviations of the angles e and o
from the vertical direction and the small variations of the flying alti-
tude within each strip. Simple methods and instruments, for instance
the mirror stereoscope and parallax bar, can be used in a theoretically
correct way for the determination of important surveying data. Further-
more, the requirements for a theoretically correct application of strict
adjustment procedure for the treatment of the errors of individual mo-
dels and aerial triangulation strips are present.
Plotting was then made on the scale 1:8 000 with 5-metre contour
lines and on the scale 1:4 000 with 2-metre contour lines.
The demonstrated data prove that the Saab 91 C Safir, is well suited
for aerial photography of this kind. It is obvious that the possibility
of using aircraft of such a type is of great importance, particularly
from the cost point of view.
Fotografering med sma flygplan under tropiska forhallanden
Under 1955 utférde Institutionen for fotogrammetri vid KTH flyg-
fotografering 1 Sydamerika for planeringsändamäl. Därvid användes
det fyrsitsiga svenska flygplanet Saab 91 C Safir, varvid en Eagle-111
kamera monterades pa platsen for det hogra, bakre sitet.
Kameran undersoktes och justerades vid KTH. Felteckningen har
bestamts sdvil genom horisontmetoden som genom uppmitning av ver-
tikalparallaxer.
