coverage of the Island. Information for all of these is now 
available in advance print form and many of the maps have been 
published. It is believed that these maps were produced econ- 
omically ‘and fulfill the purpose for which they were intended - 
to assist in the inventories studies and development planning of 
Newfoundland.
