TION. AT THE DIVISION OF PHOTOGRAMMETRY OF THE 
ROYAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, STOCKHOLM,

Introduction 
The Division of Photogrammetry belongs to the Department of Sur- 
veying of the Institute. 
The late professor E. Fagerholm (professor of geodesy and photo- 
grammetry, died 1944) started regular instruction in photogrammet- 
ry in the early 1930-ieth at the Institute of Technologv. He also succe- 
eded in collecting a good instrument equipment which still to-day is of 
the greatest importance for research and instruction. 
In 1945 the Division of Photogrammetry was established. The appo- 
intment to the professorship of photogrammetry was made in 1947.
