1.5 Results of the investigations of projectors of first order plotting 
  
instruments. 
On pages 20 - 26 the results of the projector tests in connection with the 
controlled experiments are demonstrated. For each organization and 
instrument the following data are demonstrated. 
LP and RP are the left and right projectors respectively. The mean 
square values (columns 8 - 13) are computed from the residuals in all 
measured points except those of the circles containing 13 points (base 
zero) and 8 points (base out or in) which were used for the adjustment. 
The radial distortion curves are defined as follows.
