It deals primarily with the aerial photogrammetric activities for 
.compiling topographic or thematic maps in Greece and secondly with mapping 
institutions and organizations, aerial photographic coverage, map Coverage, 
instrumentation, etc. 
Photogrammetric practice in Greece is mostly exercised by Governmental 
Services. However lately there has been some activity by private engineering 
and surveying companies to set up photogrammetric units, some of which are 
equipped with first order machi
