derstood that "Photogrammetry" includes here also the "Photointerpretation”.
2. CONTENTS AND SUBDIVISION
The project should content
= national as well as international application and development of photogram-
metry and its application in various countries,chronologically till 1970.
- technical development of photogrammetric methods and instruments in va -
rious countries from the past up to tbe present; here it is necessary to
describe excludingly those methods, procedures and instruments having been c o
developed in a certain country, particularly those ones, which were influ-
encing further development of photogrammetry.
The final HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAMMETRY will also contain the development of pho-
togrammetric methods and instruments in various periods of time.A systematic
and detailed pursuit of development e.g. of special technical methods and
instruments from the beginning till the present day will often be very dif-
ficult. The latter mentioned possibility would be of great importance for an
active photogrammeter user, especially if this information is "up to date",
As the historic presentation in this sense becomes rapidly out of date, it
is suggested that the DEVELOPMENT OF PHOTOGRAMMETRIC METHODS AND INSTRUMENTS
will be published in the form of Card-register-type papers.
It is thus considered to dívide the present project into two parts:

2.1 HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAMMETRY
The basic material of this part will consist of the relatively brief and
complete historical national reports of the single member countries in one e ©
of three ISP official languages. The information in a uniform and con -
