The kesolutions of Commission I stress the importance of com- 
parisons between sensor/platform characteristics, operational 
performance data, and specific user applications. Further, it 
1s recommended that the studies of Optical Transfer Functions 
(OTF) and Modulati 
le Functions (MTF) including the 
establishment o 
scifi j for lens testing and quality 
assessment of imagery be continued. The formation of a Working 
POUR on Image Geometry is also recommended. Finally, Commis- 
encouraeg tudies of the system approach in order to 
OT 1 benefit from the integrated use of data 
from airborne systems. The four complete resolutions are pre- 
sented in enclosure I.
