l. The Board of Commission VI
During the XII-th ISP Congress in Ottawa, 1972 Prof.W.
Sztompke /Poland/ was chosen to be responsible for the
work of Commission VI. He asked Dr.A.Linsenbarth to be
the Commission Seoretary, but in 1973 Dr Linsenbarth left
Poland to work in Libya. In September 1974 Prof. Sztompke
died. His death was a tremendous loss to all of us and
also to many of his friends abroad.
Trom November 1974 I took over his duties and proposed
Dr.J.Jachimski to be so kind as to work with me as a Sse-
cretary.
2. Working Groups of Commission VI
The following five Working Groups were constituted:
W.G. VI-1: Education and Research under the leadership
od Prof.A.J.Brandenberger /Canada/
W.G. VI-3: Terminology, Chairman Dr.J.Pietschner /GDR/
W.G. VI-5: Planning, economy, organization of Photogram-
metrio establishemnts, professional aspeots,
Chairman, Mr.S.Jack Friedman /USA/
Two working Groups:
W.G. VI-2: History of Photogrammetry, and
W.G. VI-4: Information exohange
were directed by the Board of Commission VI.
Our important missions were:
= to establish contacts with persons and organizations
currently offering education in photogrammetry in.or-
der to exchange new ideas concerning modern education
and schooling programs,
