ABSTRACT
The Commission VI of I.S.P. has held its Symposium during
May 1975, in Krakow Poland. There, some questions about the
extend in which modern teaching of Photogrammetry was fol-
lowing the present trends in educational technology, were
raised. In August a letter has been sent to several colleagues
who according to my estimations were knowlegible and experienced
to comment on teaching Methods in Photogrammetry. Out of
thirty letters I have received ten answers. From these answers
it can be concluded that so far the main difficulties of
education in Photogrammetry remain: a) the contain of Photo-
grammetry courses, b) appropriate text books, c) per week
hours of Photogrammetry lectures and laboratories. All these
questions are further complicated since photogrammetry and
remote sensing are taught not only to surveyors but to civil
engineers, to architects and others non-engineers as well.
The innovations reported are mostly related with the particular
way in which a special topic is taught or in which the lack
of instruments and the great number of students is overcome.
