FIELD WORK: 
Systematics of field work developed by the Forest Team inclu 
des flight operations by airplanes and helicopters as weli 
as ground trips by car along the roads and boats along the 
rivers. 
During the flights by airplane at low altitudes, vegetal - 
physionomies are identified; color photographs are taken - 
and correlations are inferred between the image patterns and 
the forest features observed. 
Along the roads and rivers and in the other points visited 
by helicopters, forest features are investigated and trees 
mensuration is performed,
