CONCLUS ION
Training institutions in photogrammetry are now few in the
developing countries. There is also a dearth of specialists
in photogrammetry. Photogrammetric equipment is.very expensive
and may be beyond the resources of some of the developing
countries. Lack of men and equipment may, therefore, impede
the development of photogrammetric education in the develop-
ing countries. It is, therefore, obvious that for sometime,
the developing countries will continue to depend on equipment
and staff from the developed countries in establishing or
developing their institutions.
The aid giving countries could demonstrate their interest
in fostering the' development of photogrammetry in the
developing countries by offering assistance in personnel and
equipment in the establishment and development of training
institutions in photogrammetry within the developing countries.
