For decisive answer about applicability and accuracy of the 
procedure an experiment is carried out in cooperation between 
KISR and Shuaibah Authority (SA). SA are in charge of moni 
toring pollution in the industrial Shuaibah Area. They have 
their own facilities to measure water quality parameters by 
boat. A work plan is arranged so that KISR can measure the 
five parameters on board a helicopter while SA measure same 
parameters on board a boat conventionally. It is planned 
also in this checking experiment to mount another MARTEK 
MARK II on board the boat to reveal possible systematic 
error due to "calibrated" long cable. 
Thus, for the same sample, three values for each parameters 
are available, one from airborne MARTEK MARK II, another 
from sea-borne MARTEK MARK II and third value from conven 
tional determination of parameters. In the following the 
experiment is documented and the results listed.
