reason for omitting the need for stereo vision
and for the use of an inexpensive document
scanner and paper prints. Corrections could
have been included to reduce the various
distortions encountered but this would
complicate the procedure and may prove to
be beyond the comprehension of non-
photogrammetrists. The most feasible way of
improving the accuracy would be to digitize
the diapositives in a larger, more precise
scanner, at a higher density.
