From the investigation by author ( 11,1985 ) the following
conclusions can be drawn:
--- Gross image coordinate errors can be fairly separated
from systematic image errors, while it is usually difficult
to separate gross control point errors from systematic errors.
--- The separability of gross control point errors and syste-
matic image errors is dependent on the block geometry and can
be improved through cross flights, double points and using
bigger block size.
