An important fact is the immediate, digital measurement and registra- 
tion of the positions of the pixels in the image plane within the data 
acquisition process by the digital push-broom scanner. Therefore a 
special measuring device for stereo compilation such as a stereoplotter 
is unnecessary. 
The primary tool is the computer which has to be supported by human 
interactive control in connection with a stereo monitor system.
