The main facts are mentioned below : 
the completion of the total photographic regular covering of Katanga; 
— aerial photography executed by the Belgian teams in Antarctica; 
—  non-cartographic applications (n'* 23, 24), among which a clever 
application to the electrification of railways (n' 6); 
in Congo, systematic infra-red photography, and the abundant docu- 
mentation available; 
— the conclusions of the cadastral authorities concerning the opportunity 
of pre-marking ground-points, according as it concerns rural or 
other areas (n' 45); 
—. research work, experimental and theoretic (n'* 14, 51, 52. 53); 
— the intense activity of the Société belge de Photogrammétrie and the 
notoriety of its trimestrial Bulletin.

die von den belgischen Expeditionen im antarktischen Kontinent ausge-

—  nicht-kartografische Verwendung der Photographie (n™ 23, 24), u. a. 
eine vernünftige Anwendung zur Elektritizierung der Eisenbahnen 
(n 6); 
in Kongo, systematische infrarote Aufnahme, und die verfügbare 
reichliche Dokumentation; 
die vom Katasteramt gezogene Folgerungen hinsichtlich der Zweck- 
mássigkeit der Signalisierung, je nachdem es sich um Landesgebiete 
handelt oder um andere (n" 45); 
— experimentelle und theoretische Forschungsarbeit (n'" 14, 51, 52, 53);
