The residual coordinate errors after an adjustment of one point com-
bination can comparatively easily be computed. In Diagrams 13—14
the residual coordinate errors of two plates from the R. C. 5-camera
are demonstrated. The adjustment was performed in one combination
of five points and the radial distortion was corrected.
4.22 The film
First the film was treated in the same manner as the plates. Immedi-
ately it was found that the standard error of unit weight of the image
coordinate measurements became much larger than for plates. In Table
10 the standard errors from two films are demonstrated.
The residuals are demonstrated in Diagrams 15 and 16.
