comes more stringent and is thus adapted to the stages of planning. The
role played in this connection by the instrument combination mirror
stereoscope, Balplex Plotter and precision equipments is tremendously
important.
The methods have been elaborated in such a way that a methodologi-
cal skeleton has been obtained from which deviations due to local con-
ditions may easily be made. The methods have, moreover, been so work-
ed out that the utilization of photogrammetry in connection with road-
planning does not call for more than a small number of photogrammet-
ric specialists, and there are thus possibilities of extending the use of
photogrammetry on the local plane.
