Topografische Dienst Nederland is the national mapping
authority of the Netherlands. We provide a range of digital
and analogue map-products. In 1990 we started the digi-
tal production of topographic information. Within two
years, all hand labour was replaced by digitising, a total
shift in emphasis from maps to digital data.

TopoSys GmbH is specialised in the production of high-
resolution digital elevation models (DEM). Typical applica-
tions for the basic product, a raster DEM at a grid width of
