6 CONCLUSIONS
This paper has described an approach for multi-image, feature-based matching of segment features, which comprises
three basic phases, namely computation of initial matches, extension of these matches through segment prediction, and
finally utilisation of a relaxation process for consistency checking. The results of initial experiments, one of which is
briefly touched upon, indicate that the merits of the proposed matching approach include reliable matching and
successful recovery from the influence of feature extraction errors.
