This part of the project is carried out parallel with the other
parts. Municipality staffs are trained to learn GIS in different
levels. In addition to training classes, different seminars
emphasizing on various applications of GIS for municipality
activities are also held.
Understanding GIS and its application in urban management,
will help different departments of municipality and the other
organizations to be able to add applied data and applications to
the Base GIS in the second phase of the project.
