tion in the course of data processing. Enhancement of boundaries
by means of algebraic and differentiation functions, pattern
discrimination and automated classification of geological objects
have.been already implemented.
Depending on the problem to be solved, final products of the
processing and analysis of multispectral data may be of different
types, such as black-and-white half-tone, false color, density-
line, digital images etc.
Thus, various information obtained by remote sensors from
aerospace vehicles is broadly applied to geological investigations
in our country.
The efficiency of aerospace imagery application may be sub-
stantially increased on the basis of better knowledge of the rela-
tionship between objects and their indicators and more comprehen-
sive study of characteristics of objects and their indicators in
different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. These data are
essential for making up the bank of different models of natural
objects and phenomena necessary for the automated processing of
remote sensing data.
