suggest, that a large fraction of aluminum is evaporated during the arc melting production
process. Instead of 20 at.% only 13.02 at.% remains in the matrix.
Results from XRD measurements are consistent with these findings (Fig. 4). The
diffraction pattern shows a fcc phase (most likely the solid solution) and a bcc phases
(most likely the V rich phase) together with a multitude of different phases, which could not
be identified yet, since most of the peaks are overlapping each other or show only low
intensity.
