Sure overlaps should be avoided. But I am more afraid by gaps 
than by overlaps. When a meeting is held in Tokyo, for instance, by 
the International Association A, the attendance will be nearly complete 
ly different of the one which would be gathered, one, two or three 
years later, in a Congress of the International Society S. 
Another form of co-operation was proposed by Prof. Konecny, the 
Hamburg ISP Congress Director : one day in the Congress will be of 
particular interest to PIG and ICA. 
Be sure that we shall do our best to co-operate reasonably with 
every international association having common interests with ISP 
activity.
