In accordance with the educational programme the greatest
importance is attached to the stereophotogrametry, which is taught
in the course of three semesters. In the uniform photogrametry,
which is studied from the fourth semester, the basic notions of the
optics of photogrametric objectives is discussed in 4 periods
lectures and practice, and photography is studied in 10 periods
lectures and exercises. The photograph apparata and the connection
between the elements of the air photo are taught in 12 periods
lectures and exercises, the analysis of the air photo is examined
in 8 periods, and the transformantion of the air photos and the
methods for determining the support points for this purpose are i
discussed in 5 periods lectures and 8 periods exercises.
The stereophotogrametry and the elements of the stereophoto are
studied in 14 period lectures and exercises, and the ground
stereophotogrametry and the numerical stereomodels in the ground-
stereophotogrametric photography - in 30 periods. The air photo
grametry and the universal methods in the air photography are
studied in 13 periods lectures and exercises, and the means and
analysis of the orientation of the photos, as a basic question for
obtaining a geometrically-like space model of the photographed
object - 27 periods. The students get acquainted in the course of
24 hours with the different kinds of constructions of cartographic
apparata and with their operation, after which they perform
analogue space photothreangulation in the course of 26 periods.
In the fourth course the students study the analytic photogrametry in
a broader aspect - interration equations for orientation of the
air photo, transformation of image and space coordinates, numerical
models and automatization of processes - in 46 periods lectures and
practical exercises. Thirteen periods are allowed for deciphering
of air photos and distance investigation of the Earth with a
tendency to be doubled, and the orthophotoscopy is studied ii. 10
periods. At the end is shown the application of photogrametry for
special purposes for 16 periods of production and technical tasks.

The practical exercises are done in the photogrametry laboratory,
which is equipped on a modern basis and is one of the biggest in
the country. It has universal cartographic apparata, stereoautograph,
technocart, topocart with orthophot and orograph, spectometers,
phototeodolites, photo cameras UMK and others. It is possible to
