camera. Vacuum device of photographic camera has two-positional
switch of vacuum pressure for 40Ü and 800 water column inms , and this
value is set in accordance with the film thickness.
For quality control of the levelling in laboratory a controlling
flat-parallel glass plate with calibrated grid is fitted in the
special setting place of moving camera frame. The clearance between
the surface of moving frame arid cailibrated grid in the setting
place is about 0,1 mm. In the calibration process of photographic
camera in the normal operation the cassettes get photoimages of
calibrated grid. The calibration is done in static position
(F.M.C.in"off" position) and with operating forward motion compen
sator. This case the grid is photographed with the minimum expo
sure. On the basis of the results of grid an operator of hardware
computer and bv special programme calculates remaining distortions
for deformations and bad levelling of t.he film in each cross-lines
and its medium square value, which according to Laboratory investi
gations does not exceed 6 jnkm. The example for computer calcula
tions is indicated on picture 2.
