Elevations of the ground were between 4— 850 metres above sea-level. Photographs were taken at speeds between 130—200 km/h. Aerial photography was planned also from higher aititude, but this turned out to be impossible because of weather conditions. A flying height of 2 600 metres means a negativ-scale of about 1:20 800. In this scale the signals of 1.4 X 1.4 metres were of good visibility. Photography was carried out with Kodak Super XX Aerographic film and the rolls were processed during the nights in a provisional darkroom.
