— 345 — Erstens: Es bildet die Form, worin jedes individuelle Kapital auf die Bühne tritt, seinen Process als Kapital eröffnet. Es erscheint daher als primus motor, anstossgebend dem ganzen Process. Zweitens: Je nach der wverschiednen Länge der Umschlagsperiode und dem verschiednen Verhältniss ihrer beiden Bestandtheile — Arbeits- periode und Cirkulationsperiode — ist der Bestandtheil des vorgeschossnen Kapitalwerths, der beständig in Geldform vorgeschossen und erneuert werden muss, verschieden im Verhältniss zu dem produktiven Kapital, das es in Bewegung setzt, d. h. im Verhältniss zur kontinuirlichen Pro- duktionsleiter. Welches aber immer dies Verhältniss sei, unter allen Um- ständen ist der Theil des processirenden Kapitalwerths, der beständig als produktives Kapital fungiren kann, beschränkt durch den Theil des vorgeschossnen 'Kapitalwerths, der beständig neben dem produktiven Kapital in Geldform existiren muss. Es handelt sich hier nur um den normalen Umschlag , einen abstrakten Durchschnitt. Es ist dabei abgesehn von zuschüssigem Geldkapital zur Ausgleichung von Cirkulationsstockungen. Zum ersten Punkt. Die Waarenproduktion unterstellt die Waaren- eirkulation, und die Waareneirkulation unterstellt die Darstellung‘ der Waare als Geld, die Geldeirkulation; die Verdopplung der Waare in Waare und ‚Geld ist ein Gesetz der Darstellung des Produkts als Waare. Ebenso unterstellt die kapitalistische Waarenproduktion — gesellschaftlich sowohl wie individuell 'betrachtet — das Kapital in Geldform oder das Geldka- pital als primus motor für jedes neu beginnende Geschäft, und als kon- tinuirlichen Motor. Das cirkulirende Kapital speciell unterstellt das in kürzern Zeiträumen beständig wiederholte Auftreten des Geldkapitals als Motor. Der ganze vorgeschossne Kapitalwerth, d. h. alle Bestandtheile des Kapitals, die aus Waaren bestehn, Arbeitskraft, Arbeitsmittel und Pro- duktionsstoffe müssen beständig mit Geld gekauft und wieder gekauft werden. Was hier für das individuelle Kapital, gilt für das gesellschaft- liche Kapital, das nur in der Form vieler individuellen Kapitale fungirt. Aber wie schon im Buch I gezeigt, folgt daraus keineswegs dass das Funktionsfeld des Kapitals, die Stufenleiter der Produktion, selbst auf kapitalistischer Grundlage, ihren absoluten Schranken nach abhängt von dem Umfang des fungirenden Geldkapitals. Dem Kapital sind Produktionselemente einverleibt, deren Dehnung, innerhalb gewisser Grenzen, von der Grölse des vorgeschossnen Geldkapitals
