Das Centrum der Station ist 188r mit Pfeiler und Platte I. O. nördlich des Herzoglich Anhaitischen Jagdschlosses auf dem Spitzberge bei Rosslau festgelegt worden. Als excentrische Festlegungen dienen: 1. ein Leuchtbolzen in einer Steinplatte auf dem Schornstein des Jagdschlosses; 2. die Festlegung des Geodätischen Instituts. Diese liegt o,4 m unter dem Erdboden und besteht aus einer Steinplatte, in welche ein mit Kreuzschnitt versehener Messingbolzen mit Blei eingegossen ist. Die Beobachtungen fanden auf dem mit einer Steinplatte bedeckten Schornstein des Jagdschlosses statt, und zwar: I. O. 1882, II. O. 1885, HI. O. 1889.
