DESCRIPTION OF THE APPARATUS 
System of projection. Collimation optics. Measurement of 
vertical parallaxes. Distortion correction. 
As seen in the outlining figure (1) the axes of the two projection 
cameras result as being horizontal in the fundamental position, so 
that <p = o) = 0 
As with all previously created Santoni plotters, so with model V, 
the straight projecting pairs are obtained by mechanical means: 
with guide-rods (a-b) held by universal joints (1-2) materializing the 
centers of view of the perspectives ph T , ph n . 
Said rods, in the object space, are connected to the third carriage 
of the coordinatograph (the three carriages of the latter move in 
the direction of coordinates X, Y, Z). 
On the side opposed to the coordinatograph, in correspondence 
to the taking camera, each rod supports one tubular part that sli 
des freely along the rod itself.
