other B and C wheels are used.
The table is provided with a set of wheel pairs B and C to obtain 18 different
transmission ratios.
The same can be said of the diagram in fig. 10.
The table is provided with electric brakes which operate whenever one has
inadvertently reached the limit stop of A" or Y.
Table adjustments may concern the squareness of X and \ movements and
the position of the pencil to get correspondence between a point collimated on the
stereogram and the point which already exists on the map.
Special members deal with such adjustments and it is easy to realize and
effect such operations.
5. Electronic pick up of X, Y, Z movements from the plotter and ele
ctrical CONNECTION WITH THE TABLE.
The electronic pick up of X and Y movements from the plotter, as is known,
is effected by means of synchro-transmitters. For a better understanding, we
refer to fig. 21, representing the plotter and the electronic table together, and to
fig- 22, representing the plotter seen from the back.
