Summary : An « Impresa di ricerca ecc. ecc. » has been constituted in Italy, under the patro 
nage of the « Consiglio Naz. delle Ricerche », formed by the Politecnico of Milan and the I. G. M. of 
Florence. 
The purpose of the concern for research is to determine the operative techniques and the 
adjustment methods for the blocks : to this purpose the I. G. M. has prepared on the ground a zone, 
in the environs of Florence, of about 30 x 30 km 2 , determining the planimetrie and altimétrie co 
ordinates of about 300 points, targeted so that to be recognizable on the photograms, and has effected 
the flights for the photograph. 
Then some news are given on the principles followed for the choice of the zone, on the targe 
ting of the points on the ground, and on the methods employed for their determination and for the 
calculation. Moreover, some considerations are made on the strips obtained by the flights and on the 
working programs of the research. 
Istituzione di un poligono sperimentale in Italia per lo studio dei blocchi di stri 
sciate NELLA TRIANGOLAZIONE AEREA ANALITICA. 
Sommario : È stata costituita in Italia una « Impresa di ricerca sui blocchi di triangolazione 
aerea analitica », sotto il patrocinio del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, formata dal Politecnico di 
Milano e dall’ Istituto Geografico Militare di Firenze. 
Lo scopo dell’ Impresa di ricerca è stabilire le tecniche operative ed i metodi di compensazione 
per i blocchi : a tale fine 1’ Istituto Geografico Militare ha fatto la preparazione a terra di una zona, nei 
dintorni di Firenze, di circa 30 x 30 km 2 determinando le coordinate pianimetriche ed altimetriche di 
circa 300 punti, segnalizzati in modo da risultare riconoscibili sui fotogrammi, ed ha eseguito i voli 
per la presa. 
Si danno notizie sui criteri seguiti per la scelta della zona, sulla segnalizzazione dei punt a terra e 
sui metodi impiegati per la loro determinazione e per il calcolo. Vengono fatte, inoltre, alcune considera 
zioni sulle strisciate ottenute dai voli e sui programmi di lavoro della ricerca.

DANS LA TRIANGULATION AERIENNE ANALYTIQUE. 
Résumé : On a institué en Italie une « Enterprise de recherche sur les blocs de triangulation 
aérienne analityque », sous le patronage du Conseil National des Recherches, formée par le Politecnico 
de Milan et par 1’ I. G. .M. de Florence. 
Le but de 1’ Enterprise de recherche c’est d’établir les techniques opératives et les méthodes de 
compensation pour les blocs à ce propos 1’ I. G. M. a fait une préparation à terre d’une zone, dans les 
environs de Florence, d’environ 30 X 30 km 2 déterminant les coordonnées planimétriques et altimé 
triques d’environ 300 points, signalés de façon à résulter reconnaissables sur les photogrammes, et a 
effectué les vols pour la prise.
