The activity of Commission in the period 1964-1968. 
In April 1966 the meeting of the ISP and Technical 
Commissions combined with the Symposium of Commission II 
was held in Bad Codesberg. On a session of Commission VI, 
which took place during this meeting, the program of work 
of Commission VI was prepared. 
At this session an organization of a symposium of 
Commission VI in Poland just before the Lausanne Congress 
was suggested; it was, however, out of line with the "Pro 
visional Guiding rules for Commissions and Working Groups 
1964-1968". 
We have further consulted this matter with the Coun 
cil of ISP and we have decided not organize a Symposium, 
because of the small number of participants to be expec - 
ted and because of the difficulties of preparing for the 
Congress a report of this Symposium in one day. 
We have organize instead in Warszawa a working mee- 
th th 
ting of our Commission from 16 to 18 November 1967 r. 
Prom 10 persons invited from abroad the following were ar 
rived for this meeting: Prof.Dr.A.J.Brandenberger /Canada/,
