"Standard tests for photogrammetric plotters"
by R. Burkhardt, Berlin
1) Establishment of the working group
The working group was established by recommendation of the 1964 congress
in Lisbon; it was created on the initiative of the president of Commis

Commission II at Bad Godesberg on April 21, 1967 (/30/).
The working group is to be made up of eight to ten members. Together
with instrument manufacturers and users, it is to elaborate rules for
periodic checks on the adjustment and operational condition of photo

theory and practice, national and international interests, etc.).
The negotiations originally startet at Bad Godesberg led to the follow
ing composition of the working group:
1. Dipl.-Ing.

4. Dr.-Ing.
5. Ing.Geograph
6. Dr.-Ing.

Group member No. 9 did not participate in the meetings and the members
named under 3» 5 and 7 only took part in some meetings. In addition,
detailed written comments were presented in reply to the circulars, the
suggestions submitted by members of the group and the drafts prepared
by the group. Due to the large amount of correspondence, the original
plans for multi-lingual correspondence unfortunately had to be given
up.
A preliminary meeting and discussion of aims and intentions was held
with limited attendance at Karlsruhe, following an invitation by the
president of Commission II, Professor Schwidefsky. The programm agreed
upon at that meeting was submitted to all members, discussed with them
and drawn up in its final form, for which another four sessions were
required, viz.
