A8-scale, where one unit is equivalent to 2 mm and one division on the drum
signifies 0.02 mm. We must therefore use the coefficient 2 in formula (20)
for computing the real values. The other formulas, for example (9), give the
real values directly.
1.3. The mechanical adjustment.
The results from Forms A7s3> A8:3> and Section 1.2. are useful for mechanical
adjustments. At first we must determine which elements are to be adjusted
according to 3.1. Thereafter the adjustment can be performed according to
the following tables.
