3. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS.
The aerial photography was performed by the Central Office For Geodesy And Cartography in Czechoslovakia with
the camera Wild RC5A 15/23 cm. Focal length 152.50 - 0,02 mm. Principal point inside a circle around the photo-
graph centre with the radius 0.01 mm. Radial lens distortion less than 0.007 mm. Mean photographic resolving
power 60-20 lines per mm, according to the ISP recommendations. A check measurement of the fiducial marks
gave the following result (two means of each three measurements).

The Central Office procured 30 sets of diapositives on polyester film and Rikes allmänna kartverk
in Stockholm the other sets, also on polyeser film, Some participants in the Experiment informed
us about large film distortions. Other participants did not observe unusual distortions, Hence we
assembled information about film distortion from all available literature and presented the result
in an internal report, Unfortunately we had neither time nor funds to publish it for the Congress.
Mr. Erik Wel ander at Rikets allmànna kartverk in Stockholm performed some investigations in
the same field. We intend to publish our common results after the Congress. The Finnish report
"On The Deformation Of Polyester Film" has already been mentioned in section 0.
