The negative shall not show a differential 
change in dimension of more than O,lmm, nor 
shall any such distorsion render negatives 
unsuitable for use in if order plotting 
instruments. Polyester base films are being 
used operationally. Present specifications 
do not reflect the superior dimensional sta- 
bility of these films. 
Four additional fiducial marks have been 
installed in all eameras /each corner and 
center of each side/. 
Glass flash plates are made in camera perio- 
dically and marks on plates compared with fi 
ducials on all negatives using Zeiss Stereo: 
comparator. Any difference compensated in 
analytical adjustment. 
The tolerances for flatness of diapositive 
plates reported by the organizations from 
Canada, Malaya and USA 1, 6, 9, ll, 12, 14
