Section 2, The test field Pecn$ in Czechoslovakia was surveyed with a standard error of 2 cm in X and Y and
1 cm in Z, We did not find any significant difference in accuracy between triangulation points and traverse
points,

Section 3, Aerial camera Wild RC5a 15/23 cm. Negative and diapositives on polyesterfilm. Negative scales

of polyester base film used in the international controlled photogrammetric experiment Pecnÿ 1966-1968 by
Prof. Dr. R.S. Halonen and Dipl.Eng. Aino Savolainen, " |
Section 4, Participants from 23 nations and 52 institutes measured 365 models, about 9 000 points, and about

50 000 coordinates,
Section 5. Every participant measured the machine coordinates of 5 pass points and about 45 comparison points
in the first model and about 45 comparison points of the second model for each negative scale. He transformed
them to the field system. We transformed the coordinate differences (xyz) to another field system with its X-axis
parallell to the direction of flight.
About 30 1st. order stereoplotters, 15 2nd order plotters, 1 APC plotter and 5 stereocomparators were used,
Relative and absolute orientation according to some usual method,

About 9 % gross errors were found and excluded from this Experiment & were also excluded from the Experiment
Reichenbach).
Section 6. Error of Comparison Points.

Section 6, We have not studied errors caused by instrument, orientation, operator and measurement, They have al- »
ready been studied in the Experiment Reichenbach 1962-1964, Practically significant differences of error caused by
these sources of error were hardly possible to find,
6.1 Basic data for comparison points are presented in table 6.11. The standard deviations for the comparison points
of model 1 and model 2 were found to be 1.29 and 2.15 times the standard deviations of the pass points of model 1.
The standard deviations of the first models had minimum and maximum values about 1/2 and 2 times the mean
standard deviations, This relation is valid for all three negativescales. Table 6.12.
