CONCLUSIONS 
The mapping system described above and consisting 
of super-wide angle infra-red photography, Aerodist, APR, 
horizon camera, Statoscope and Doppler navigation system 
is capable of surveying and mapping of inaccessible and 
virgin territories to standard mapping accuracy, without 
the necessity of costly and time consuming surveys on the 
ground. The mapping task can be accomplished in a fraction 
of the time and at a lower cost than compared with a more 
conventional approach.
